BTS 101 | THEOLOGY 1 (4 credits)
In this course you will be introduced to the study of systematic theology, in which you will learn the foundations of the Christian faith. Topics covered in this course are Bibliology and Theology Proper.
BTS 102 | THEOLOGY 2 (4 credits)
This course continues the study of systematic theology with an in-depth look at Soteriology, Hamartiology, and Christology, with a special emphasis of the doctrines of Law and Grace.
BTS 103 | THEOLOGY 3 (3 credits)
This course introduces Angelology and takes a more thorough study of Pneumatology. You will also learn about how to discover and use your own spiritual gifts.
BTS 201 | OLD TESTAMENT STORY (4 credits)
In this course you will study the entire Old Testament, gaining a broad picture and overview including major players and themes within the OT as well as outside influences over the events and writing of the OT. We will study each book, including writers, overarching purpose, and timeline of events as well as the timeline of each book written.
BTS 202 | NEW TESTAMENT STORY (4 credits)
In this course you will study the entire New Testament, gaining a broad picture and overview including putting books in chronological order using the book of Acts as a history book. We will identify writers and events, as well as the purpose/intended audience of each book and how it applies to us today.
BTS 211 | WORSHIP & EVANGELISM (4 credits)
When you’ve grasped the concepts of God’s grace, you can’t help but respond with worship – and telling others! In this course, you’ll learn about the many forms of worship, including how it has looked throughout history. You’ll also be equipped and challenged to share your faith effectively.
BTS 303 | GLOBAL CHURCH HISTORY (3 credits)
To have a solid understanding of your faith today, you must understand where Jesus has brought His Church since He created it. In this course you will study the history of the Early Church until now, including the Reformation and other revivals.
