Diploma in Biblical Studies

In Jesus are stored all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Colossians 2:3

PURPOSE

To develop believers who have a firm foundation of faith.

DESCRIPTION

Foundational to every believer's life is knowing and trusting in Jesus. Before we can step into our calling, we must begin with a solid foundation of Jesus' love as well as an understanding of what and why we believe. This program is for those who want to take their faith to the next level in a stronger, more vibrant relationship with Him.

Upon completion, students will be able to:

  • Describe the central theme of the Bible and explain how each book of the Bible contributes to that theme

  • Articulate the message of the gospel accurately using knowledge of biblical truth, basic apologetics, and personal testimony

  • Demonstrate competency in a church ministry area’s tasks, including basic goal-setting and communication skills
  • Practice spiritual disciplines habitually, including daily Bible reading and prayer, weekly church attendance, and serving
  • Explain the basics of the major branches of systematic theology and how they are relevant to today’s world

  • Apply biblical concepts and principles to their lives at home, at work, and in ministry
